A little about Jeana and Siobhan:
Jeana and Siobhan are singers, piano players and fiddle players. They are both students at the RSMAD in Glasgow. They have most recently won the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award 2008.

Jeana is originally from Orkney and has performed solo at Orkney folk festival and was twice semi-finalist in the Scottish Young Traditional Musician of the Year Award. She has also toured Canada with her band Hadhirgann.

Siobhan, from Penicuick, was a finalist in the Young Folk Awards 2001, she recorded her CD, ‘Reflective’ in her final year at Penicuik High School.

Jeana and Siobhan will be releasing their debut album at Cambridge Folk Festival.

The challenge:
The brief was to develop a website and blog to showcase the talents of Jeana and Siobhan and to create an interactive online presence which will allow their fans access to their schedule and news.

The blog is also a way for Jeana and Siobhan to provide their fans with a more personal insight into their lives and allows them to upload tour photos and diary entries.

What Jeana and Siobhan say about us
We wanted a site that was easy for us to use and update. We also wanted our site to present us in a young and funky way. We were blown away by the level of effort and interest put into our project by all of the team at PoLR (so much that we even thanked them on our CD cover!). We got to meet the team designing our site and discussed our ideas of what we wanted from our site. The guys at PoLR came back with a website over-and-above what we had asked for and we were hugely impressed with their enthusiasm and creativity.

Thanks PoLR x
